Tindora (Gherkins) sabji

Tindora is usually dry fried in many Indian houses. Try this recipe~ I hope you will enjoy it.

** Tindora sabji **

Preparation time: 15 mins 

Cooking time: 15 mins

Ingredients: 

Tindora – 500 grams (1lb) diced 

Onion – 1 ( large; chopped)

Onion – 1 (medium; chopped)

Green chillies – 4 (finely chopped)

Sesame seeds

Salt to taste

Oil – 2 table spoons

Sesame powder – 2 table spoons 

** Sesame powder : Dry fry sesame seeds and dried red chillies; cool them to room temperature and grind them into fine powder using a blender **

Recipe:

1) Heat the skillet with 2 table spoons of oil; add onions and fry them until they turn golden brown. 

2) Add tomatoes, green chillies and cover the skillet with its lid. Lower the flame to medium. 

3) Add tindora and 2 table spoons of sesame powder; let it cook for 10 minutes. 

Tindora sabji is ready to eat!
