Pesarattu (green dosa)

Pesarattu – the famous Andhra Pradesh breakfast is healthy and easy to make.

 

**Pesarattu**

Cooking time : 5 minutes 

Preparation time : 15 minutes 

Ingredients: 

Moong dal (green one) – 4 cups

Green chillies – 6

Ginger paste – 2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Oil (as required)

 

Recipe: 

1) Soak the moong dal in water for four hours prior to grinding.

2) Grind the moong dal, chillies, and ginger into a batter (preferably course texture).

3) Heat the tava – roll out the batter with a spatula and sprinkle a few drops of oil.

4) Wait till the dosa gets cooked and crispy- flip it to cook the other side.

Pesarattu is ready!

** The pesarattu can be eaten in many ways-> without chutney, with chutney (please check Niranjan’s chutney recipe), with upma.**
